Two-factor authentication (2FA) protects your account by requiring a code in addition to your password.

  1. Open Settings → Security → Two-factor authentication.
  2. Choose Authenticator app.
  3. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, or your preferred app.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code shown in your app to confirm.
  5. Save the backup codes somewhere safe.

Set up 2FA with SMS

SMS is supported but less secure than an authenticator app. Use it only if you can't use an app.

I lost access to my 2FA

Use one of your backup codes. If those are also lost, contact support@ainvest.com from the email address on your AInvest account — we'll guide you through identity verification.
